The Problem
Zambia loses $900M per year to load shedding. Power cuts last up to 22 hours daily. Businesses close. Food spoils. Homes go dark.
The average household earns $128/month. A solar system costs $3,000+. Bank financing charges 30–40% interest. For 65% of Zambians, solar is unreachable.
Our Solution
Astanah installs solar-plus-battery systems for zero upfront cost. We own the hardware. We maintain it. Customers pay a fixed monthly fee of $25–$300. Energy-as-a-Service.
We also upcycle end-of-life lithium batteries — reducing hardware CAPEX and keeping waste out of landfill.
